I purchased an SR9 about a year ago and have shot upwards of a couple thousand bullets through it. Has been a great gun so far, and very reliable. Has only failed to feed a couple of times, and that was due mostly to lack of cleaning. My favorite part of the gun are the sights. The rear sight has two dots and the front has one. All one has to do is line the dots up horizontally and focus on the front sight when shooting. The sights on this gun make that very easy. This is a great gun for some one looking for a 9mm pistol that doesnt want a 1911.

EDC.Carry it everywhere. The slimmness of the frame is awesome. Carry 10 round mag with 17 rounds as backup. Have a Glock 17 that I shoot competition with but carry the SR9c more. Great retail price is $399.

The Ruger sr9c is a very good gun for the price. I have been very lucky with Ruger. I own three and have never had a malfunction of any kind..For a carry option I like the Ruger lc9 more because it is smaller size , but the sr9c version can be carried fairly easily, but slightly more large than I like to carry.

If you are looking for a first gun or one that can be used as an all purpose handgun the Ruger sr9c or Ruger sr40c is worth a look…

I’ve owned my SR9 for about 18 months or so. I’ve fed it a bunch of different ammo and so far it’s eaten it all. No FTE, FTF or stove pipes. The only issue I’ve found is if you’re outside and it’s hot. it seems to take a little extra work to keep a tight solid grip when firing. An easy fix. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars overall.

This is my carry gun. With the 10 round magazine I can pocket carry it.

I have the sr9c and like the 17rd mags in it. easy to carry and shoot. super controllable when running through speed shooting drills. first gun I owned that wasn’t a single/double action. thinking about buying the full sized just for fun.
