Beretta 92FS

The Beretta 92 (also Beretta 96 and Beretta 98) is a series of semi-automatic pistols designed and manufactured by Beretta of Italy. The model 92 was designed in 1972 and production of many variants in different calibers continues today. The United States Armed Forces replaced the Model 1911A1 .45 ACP pistol in 1985 with the military spec Beretta 92F, the M9.

Beretta currently produces the pistol in four different configurations (FS, G, D and DS) and four calibers: 9×19mm Parabellum, .40 S&W, 9×21mm IMI and 7.65mm Luger.

Great

There you have it — my opinion of the Beretta 92. I know it’s not for everyone, especially those with small hands, but I know it is for me.

Amazing

Needless to say, a 92-series pistol of some sorts is on my “Objects of Desire” list. With a little boy expected at the end of March, I can only hope that my buddy will lend me his beautiful pistol from time to time, so that I can at least keep the virus squelched long enough to save up enough cash to buy my own.

Good

Steve G. from Poughkeepsie, NY says:

My 92F is over 15 years old and next give me any problems. One of the easiest guns to take down and put back together. I carry this as a daily carry along with my Springfield 1911’s and my XD 45 5″ as my daily carry also. I don’t know what people see in those Glocks. One of the only guns that can go off in your pants. I own 4 Beretta’s ( 9mm, 45, 380 and a Storm 45 )and the rest are 3 Springfield’s (2- 1911’s & a M14) plus a Bersa 380. All go off without a problem. Maintaine your weapons and and use good ammo and they will go bang. Curtis from TEXAS.
